This old world is rapidly aging as viruses, fires, floods, droughts, earthquakes, and storms ravage every continent. The clock of human history quickly runs down as nations, economies, and religions are either at war with one another or ready to implode upon themselves. In the midst, you must have some message; what is it?
Whether you’re a parent, pastor, teacher, counselor, or Bible study leader, you are expected to carry a message of Christ to those who listen. What’s your commission, your call?
What’s your message?
Is it effective in today’s turbulent world?
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”
1 John 4: 1,3
The World Needs Simple Truth
There is an absolute need for messages that offer the simple truth about the times we live in because this is the End Time and the King is coming. There are two distinct eternal outcomes. There is a real enemy and he wants to destroy you and those entrusted to you.
“While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost.”
John 17:12
It isn’t a coincidence that you are a witness to earthquakes and fire. Amid the quakes, storms, and conflicts, God expects something from you.
The great evangelist Billy Graham once said, “The greatest strike of our generation has not been by labor unions, but by twentieth century Christians, the Army of God which has refused to follow the Savior’s commands.”
What has the Holy Spirit called you to do?
Jesus said, “Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky and of the earth, but how is it you do not discern this time?” – Luke 12:37, 56
Obedience to Your Heavenly Vision
Are you being obedient to your heavenly vision or just doing your own thing? Do you hear the Shepherd’s voice or busy listening to the praise and worship band record their latest arrangement?
Some of the Christian folks I interact with are depressed, disillusioned, or in despair. Jesus did not leave us without hope when He ascended to heaven. He left us with a peace and joy that are eternal and unshakeable.
That peace and joy is a fact. It’s real. Is it yours? Do others see it in you?
Rumbles of war, earthquakes, economic failure, drought, and flood are not big enough to negate the promises He made [Matthew 24:6.]
God is Not in the Disasters
What is the meaning of the earthquake, fires, floods, and other natural disasters being visited upon the earth? God is not in the disasters. The still small voice calling to the people is His. Unless you close our ears and eyes to the noise and distraction of these temporal events you can’t hear what He says.
The Shepherd is calling his flock to return to the fold. Do you hear His voice?
“Watch God’s cyclones. The only way God sows His saints is by His whirlwind.” ~ Oswald Chambers
Today the wind of the Spirit is blowing at gale force. Are you paying attention or have you pulled the covers up over your head, singing “Jesus loves me” in some mad mixture of hope and fear?
The Devil Owns the Fence
The End Time is here. If you’ve been balancing on the top rail of the thin fence between Genesis 1 and Revelation 22, wondering where the world is in the timeline of mankind, my message is that the fence is about to break and you must choose which side to fall on. And even if your fence feels sturdy enough to carry you, I’ve heard it said that Satan owns the fence.
There are two distinct outcomes for eternity. The only question you need to answer is this, “Do you want to spend it with Jesus?”
What’s your message? Are you faithfully sharing it?
Two Distinct Eternal Outcomes
There are two distinct eternal outcomes, with Christ and without. Sadly, too many self-labeled Christians don’t understand the dividing line. These two books are designed to lead you through God’s Word and the world you live in.
Check the message you’re sharing. Verify by comparing it directly to God’s Word.
Rapture and Revelation doesn’t tell readers what to think, but challenges them to know why they believe as they do.
Fifteen Minutes into Eternity goes a step further, it doesn’t matter what you believe unless what you believe is true.
